Each season is beautiful. Even if I have to look around more closely to see it, the season unfolds around me - glorious. It is late winter here and still cold and wet, but there are wild cherry trees blossoming on my brother in law's front property and daffodils are peeking out everywhere. The snow drops are amazing too. Their droopy white heads are bobbing in our afternoon's freezing sleet. I picked some to do this illustration - and I never had before - and they make lovely cut flowers for a little vase on the kitchen windowsill. They smell really fresh and they open up to reveal a beautiful intricate green design inside.
I hope you all can take some time to be amazed by the unfolding that has just started. I long for some warm weather right now too. I am satisfied with having some hope for right now.
Burr. It's cold right now, even in the studio. I hope you are warm where ever in the world you are right now, xo Lynndee
